Morals and Customs

Chania is one from the most beautiful and graphic cities. In a lot of villages, parts and corners of prefecture is auspicious the fact that even today revive old customs that maintain live the popular Cretan delivery. A lot of feasts, festival, events and small daily occupations constitute the contact between to past and the present of place. In any corner of Inns and you go you will feel the hospitality where they will offer to you a glass of traditional raki, or wine, or a rich dinner in one poor homemade.

In the soul of Cretans dominates the conscientious and price as well as the hierarchy of moral values with the first family and afterwards the friendship. Apart from the Summer Festival of city of Chania, with theatrical representations, musical nignts, figurative reports and concert, are organized in Chania and in the around region rich and interesting cultural events from the institutions, the cultural contacts, the institutions and from private initiatives at the duration of all time. Also are organized the international athletic fights named “Venizeleia” and the celebration of Naval Week.
